Perception 120 Condenser Mic?

I recently bought the Perception 120 Condenser Mic. I have the M-Audio Avid Recording Studio hookup. I hooked my mic up to it and have it plugged in correctly, but it's not picking up any sound from my mic. Can someone help me on this?

While it may seem silly, watch a few YouTube videos, like YouTube - Avid Recording Studio or YouTube - Avid M-Audio Recording Studio to get a feel for the interface. Then, be sure you have it set up as your default sound card and your internal sound card is disabled. Then Pro Tools has to be set up properly. It's a learning curve, but eventually you get a 6th sense of how to do this quickly and properly.
