300$ for a mic

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a mic.. 300$ and under.

Blue bluebird, blue spark, rode nt-1a... these are my current choices, any suggestions?

Used for vocal... Rap and singing.

You should check out an EV RE20 for a vocal microphone. ;)
 
Actually I bought the Spark, and I'm pretty impressed with the results so far, since it's 200$, I had enough to buy new monitors, so I guess it was a good pick!

The KRK 8inches hmm don't remember the model hahah, the black and yellow ones!
 
Alright, yeah.

Are you digging the spark and have you tried both settings?
 
Yeah, it sounds really great for a 200$ mic. The focus control is okay I guess, gives a bit more warm I'd say! But it's not that useful because my EQ can deal with that.
 
Ahaha, I know a sales clerk actually that works in a a music store. got them for 150$-ish !
