Suddently only one of my two monitors wants to sound+other of Hoods problems

After 20-30 minutes I only hear my left monitor playing. I tried reinstalling the driver for my interface and trying bass sound from input only. but it didn't help. This is my setup:

Alternative soloution: pulling monitor cable out from the interface and inserting it afterwards.

My newest faced problem is about the fact that I can't choose any plugins from the plugin menu. How do i install these? Mostly they are .dll files so I find it kinda hard to figure.

Did you try plugging your left monitor into where your right monitor is plugged in? This would at least help you find out if it's the monitor not working, or if it's another problem.

THANKS!!!! Greatly appericiated:)
Omg i can't believe taking it out then plugging it in again, makes it work. It's a weird interface. Sometimes it won't register my inputs in cubase unless i switch it off and on again.
Can you help me with that one also? :D It's a Tascam US-1641.

Btw nice tracks you've got. Tasty vocal and catchy guitar.

I still have a problem. It's like the right monitor fades out during use of any kind. Help? :)

It fades out? That sounds like a power problem with either the interface or the monitor's power supply. I would first assume it is an interface bus power problem, but since the 1641 is powered by a wall outlet, it seems like the problem lies within your monitor.

It´s weird cause i forgot to mention that when i take both monitor jacks out from the interface and plug them in again, there is no problem. (All powercables are plugged to the same wall outlet.)

To the problem with plug-ins: From the 'Audio' drop-down menu, the plug-ins won't show up until there is something recorded on the track. Not sure why. You can insert them from the inspector tho or ('e'). Your plug-ins are installed. They wouldn't be listed if they weren't.

:)

OMG. That's terrible.

Let me hear your first attempt of making your own music ever?
I dont even know if i want to defend myself. I guess since you wrote three words I better do.
No metronome, no tuner, only real music with bad reverb + the tinest dub section in the world.
But I guess you all get that kind of welcome on a forum. Convinced I am about you jack.

Don't sweat it, Hood. He has 4 posts on this site, go read them. He's either illiterate or retarded.

Guess I got all in flames for no reason. A temper can be hold in leash but the leash can break when you are quitting the smokes.

Lmao! There must be something in the water lately. I was actually expecting something absolutely horrible after hearing that comment. Wasn't at home to listen to the file. I would say that was a very 'un-terrible' first recording attempt buddy. Sweat nothing other than your monitor issue. Howz that workin out? Did you flip the monitors to remove them from the troubleshooting list?

Jimmy

Thanks a lot mate - yeah it's now wiped from the list so when I get home from school I will try to see if it is a power issue.

Bump because now the monitor wont even seem like it's taking nothing but a very very small signal.. Why does it need to be this complicated/ can anyone help me out?
I think the problem lies within the monitor since i tried switching cables and putting the other monitor into it's input. Can't find any troubleshooting in the manuals..

Sounds like you need to return the monitor or get it serviced.:(
