Hello, I have had my apex 435 microphone for over a year now, and am looking to upgrade, I am not a complete noob at this but also i know theres more knowledgeable people on here than me, if anyone has any advice on an affordable mic that would be better than this apex let me know. I like the apex but I know it is time to upgrade.

Any suggestions please let me know! thanks.

mxl v67

Im not sure if they have changed much as i bought my mxlv67 7 years ago but i see them going for around 100 dollars. I think they are well worth it.A

I dont wanna live in Canada anymore.

Yes you do, you just don't want to pay the premiums attached to living in the Great White North!

Have you tried the Rental Dept at your local store for a deal? I got my Apex 415 with shock mount for $75 plus tax at L&M. Retails at $150... Even has 3 months of warranty, which you won't get from "Joe Blow" on the street...

Something to consider for us budget minded folks!

Nah, id give up universal health care for cheap mics any day.
Thgngs were so much easier when i was a boy in blighty.

To TS, there is a sticky at the top of the page that might have some good recommendations for mics under 100 dollars.
