Whole year of waiting and still NOTHING from alesis....... DM-10 False advertising!!

I purchased an alesis dm-10 studio drumkit around this time last year. The main reason i bought it was due to the fact they advertised you will be able to download your own sound sets to the module.

Well here it is a year later and still no news on that option. I even looked them up on NAMM and they had the set with and updated rack.... STILL advertising the ability to download sounds to the module. This is a BLATANT lie on their behalf.I have emailed them several times and always get "we are working on it".

Does anybody else use this???

If it ain't the lawyers, it's the Marketing dept. they are the bane of the world. Drive us to ruins, I tell ya.... and the Sales dept will have you convinced it's a good thing.

But maybe you can use your drums with a VSTi like EZDrummer, Steven Slate Drums or something.... Probably get better sounds.
