Don't stare at the eye.
The ever so lovely Mrs. Strat surprised me with a ukulele for Christmas!

Okay...it wasn't a complete surprise. A couple/few weeks before Christmas, she came right out and asked me which one I would want. I'm a newb to ukes, and wouldn't spend a ton. I really liked the sound and feel of the new Fender tenors--so that's what she got for me.

I'm lovin' it! :D

That's all.

Merry Christmas indeed...so you have a pic to post for us to see?

What?!?

Still no pics?

:p

Cool StratDude :D
Been thinkin about gettin a uke and a mandolin justa cuz they got strings.
I figgers...if they got strings, I can play it.

sorta. :o

I almost got myself a baritone ukulele for Christmas but they were out of them at the store and I didn't order one thinking I'll just get one later on.

Lucky you though WS ;)

Just to be clear--the uke is the little one on the right.

nice! I have an inherited Uke, and I love it. I found it to be pretty useful for recording - it can obviously be a uke, but also when I play one note lines, it can simulate the sounds of some other middle eastern / indian string instruments (I can't get specific as to which ones), and it records very well. I bet you put some miles on that thing pretty soon.

Already putting the miles on it! I've barely played a guitar in the past couple weeks--just can't put the ukulele down!

I love a ukulele lady, a ukulele lady loves me...

In your case that holds true mate. Nice score there. Gonna get a real bass soon? Juss kidding, love Schecter's, me friend at work keeps pissing around about getting 5 banger Stiletto to the point I won't talk about it any more.

Isn't there some maniac on Youtube that plays shred uke?
