I am a Newbie in Mixing and Mastering and im only 18 so i dont have the joy of using a professional studio to record but i have the equipment. This is my chain:
Rode NT1000 --> PreSonus TubePRE --> DBX 266XL --> Mbox 2 --> ProTools LE (Windows Vista/ 2GB RAM)
Basically i got into the spell of more and more equipment before i even learned how to fully use it.
(-_-)
It would be great if someone could give me some feedback on some of the tracks i have attempted to mix to the best of my abilities. For the tracks I have mixed, I feel like the vocals have too much "body" but when i cut the the low frequencies, they sound too "airy". If someone feels like they can help me get the vocals to sound "flat" (not too much highs or too much lows), I wouldn't mind paying them.
DM if you want to take up the task.
