Violent Femmes Cover (Video Song)

Sounds pretty good. The only thing I would change is the vocal processing. There is no bass, and it sounds like it's out of phase some how.
 
Nice cover. The original is tough one to compete with though :)

Do have some kind of lo-fi filter going on your voice?
 
I'm pretty sure the root cause is mic placement. The mic is kinda below my face and I'm singing across the top of it. Is that "proximity effect"? I don't know from terms.

I actually like the sound you got. It had that raspy feel to it which I though was cool!
