Propman, Thanks! I may look at bumping the vox down a little. I kind of like the wall of "woah"s though. (I'm going for something similar to Helloween's "Just a little sign" there. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAegHGGwru8 starting at 2:38))
I'm glad you like the blips. Nintendo is a good sound for that to resemble. If I had a SIDstation, we'd be a chiptunes band. :D

Joey, thanks man! Yeah it's a bit short. I don't have the patience for long instrumentals. Plus my songs rarely top 3 minutes anyway. :D

Not much to add to what's been said. I really love the guitar tones. A little raw, but not too raw. Sounded great. The volume adjustment on the vocal was spot on.

Sounded great.

If that's what you're going for, go for it! Leave it like it is by all means. It's your song after all. I still think it sounds great!

That's because when I went to the web site I "launched the music player" and got "Teenage Girlfriend", instead of downloading the mp3. The disadvantage of blogging after a few beers...:)

Some how you made it work with the little beeps and stuff. It's actually cool too, until it end and you're left thinking where the rest of the song is :P

It's all about subverting expectations, right? I say "overture," and you expect an epic, 5-minute instrumental. Then WHAM! Less than 2! :D
 
Now that I have the right file... I like the energy and the coming and going dynamics, and the bass that starts up with a distorted accompaniment sounding like it’s got some kind of guttural vocoder on it...

I don't like the boinky synth much. The quiet bit leading into the vocal chant would be much better without it, and during the chant it gets masked/lost anyway. It has a comical sound, and if that’s what you want then all is good, in which case give it more of a stand out feature section.

P.S. There is much more to like than get picky about :)

Hmmm... That's two people not liking the blips, huh? I may need to revisit them then.
