I wanna know how write with the korg nano. I see people playing drum beats with ezdrummer but how do you write beats on ezydrummer with the nano. How does it work. Do you hit the a key on the nano and it writes down what you just hit like bass hi hat toms etc. I'm just tired of actually clicking with the mouse individually each piece of drum.

no...depending on your daw bring up the piano roll...then you tap the keys to play the drums..

I think just about all DAWs let you overdub so you set up a loop...then tap, say C1, to get the kick down...then on top of that you record the snare, then the hi hat etc..

the nano is just like drum pads

Korg nano is a midi controller just like a zillion other midi controllers.
Its main claim to fame is small size and small price.
It will control any midi device or any soft synth (VST) via a midi-capable interface.
Ezdrummer is just one of a zillion VSTs/soft drums/synth software.

Look up midi if you are still in the dark.
