:["]confused: Hello friends! I have used my soundforge program in some detail over the last few years as becoming a permanently disabled retiree; But for some reason today I just could not locate the pulldown 'Process Effects Menu' for fades and other effects.I tried for hours but simply could not locate it and so far their 'help' resource and printed out operating guide have been of no use.
can anyone succinctly tell me in a couple easy steps where to locate this beastie? I've pulled down every toolbar possible menu and been 'stiffed'.
Thanx much! anyone/everyone_
Before I get hammered on this...P.S. I know this is not a really comprehensive creation program[ for that I use the 'Cakewalk' 'guitar Tracks Pro' software andI'm still an old curmudgeon permanently tied to using my own
fre standin digital and analog processors on the input side.
Please heee-e-l-l-p!
But I used to find 'Forge' a pretty swiftlittle framework to modify some files of lesser importor just temporary 'idea sharing'

Has the window covered it up somehow, the window with the waveform may have moved up and covered the menu bar? Resize the window and see if it shows up.

Alan.

yep, I'm working an active file, and no, the wave hasn't covered up anything.
I just cannot find at any point any menu with the word process or effects in in it but i used to go right to it.

...then again, under the outboard (VST adds) FX pull-down there's that opportunity to "organize" your FX. Sometimes you'll find the sony FX listed again in this section. They are active if the check-boxes are checked. Have you looked here?

Can you post a screen shot of what you see?

Alan.
