Hi ! :) The microphone has a round end but when I stick it in the Line In of the Tascam, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong ?

nb: the Tascam is loaded, is working and I do have Cubase LE4 (that came with it), loaded. I guess, I just don't know where to stick what ?

What microphone are you using?

What cable are you using?

You probably need to plug your microphone into a microphone inlet, not a line in, which may involve a different cable. I'm guessing, I've never seen this device.

If you are using a condenser mic then flick on phantom power.

Stick your headphones in and stick up the headphone volume (back right dial), stick the back left dial half way

The line in (front left or right depending which side you are plugging in) should be moved up until you can hear your mic working
