Radio beams coming in from space
No one knows what they're about
There is something out there
A cosmic twist and shout
Their genders are in doubt
They'll really freak you out........uh oh!

Transsexual mutant monster beach party on mars.
Chicks with dicks in the stars
A mister sister in space
5 o'clock shadow on their face
Transsexual mutant monster beach party on mars!

Are they boys or are they girls?
A shindig from another world
The Trekkies are all freaking out
A green lipped puckered pout
Their genders are in doubt
A cosmic twist and shout

Transsexual mutant monster beach party on mars.
Chicks with dicks in the stars
A mister sister in space
5 o'clock shadow on their face
Transsexual mutant monster beach party on.......
Mars is a hopping place
The tranny mutants don't feel disgraced
You know, Shemale monsters party all
Night's the time for feeling fine
wearing makeup and drinking wine
You know, rave all night on the red planet!

Transsexual mutant monster beach party on mars.
Chicks with dicks in the stars
A mister sister in space
5 o'clock shadow on their face!
Transsexual mutant monster beach party on mars!
All night - alright!
All night - alright!
All night - alright!
All night - alright!
Let's go!

Fuck.

lol

No quips from me.

Slide whistle and cowbell combo for the win.

Everything fits.

Made my day.

Wow. Drums sound awesome as does the bass. Guitars are gnarly in a good way. I wish I could make out the vocals a bit better throughout the tune - maybe just me? - but am glad you included the lyrics above...hilarious :).

There seemed to be excessive sibilance on the vocals...but again, maybe just me. Very tight, energetic performance as usual.

yup I was getting quite a bit of sibilance as well....fucking hilarious other than that...ABs right...whistle and cowbell are genius

Had a real Johnny Marr lifting riff near the end and those kazoos raise their ugly heads again...makes it all great fun

was that EZ drummer?...you get some good sounds out of it :laughings:

Thanks a lot guys. Too much sibilance huh? I'll look into that. I think my mic is fucked. I've noticed it getting brighter and brighter it seems. I dunno.

It's not EZdrummer. It's GrEgZ drummer. :D

Dude.... Yeah, for me - this is definitely your best. No doubt. Either your vocals are getting better, or this song just fits the tone of your voice better.

Love the humor. That 3-tap cowbell mid-song was brilliant! The sliding pipe thing was also a great idea. Yeah, smiles all around here. Great stuff.

Nits: Tambourine was almost inaudible. EQ it to brighten it up, if ya want people to hear it. It added to the texture as is, but didn't pop like a tambourine should. Also - I almost hesitate to say this, just because you're the resident drum recording genius, but there was a wooden-like sound coming from your snare that didn't add much to its tone. It's almost like your snare head is a bit more loose than in your other songs, and it's giving your snare a different tone. Kind of a deeper crack, instead of the bright brilliant crack of your snare in your other recordings. I didn't like this song's snare tone near as much as songs like "She Wolf".

Anyway... Loved the song. Listened to it thrice before I could quit becoming enveloped in it, in order to critique its elements.

Rockin'!

Thanks PI. I struggled with the tambo drowning out the ride ping. It's not that important to me, but I might play with it some more when I do a re-mix. I can hear it just fine on my setup and on the reference systems I used, but I'm used to it, so my ears may be playing tricks on me.

I personally like this snare tone - for now. That may change in the next few weeks or whatever. I'm using a different compressor on the snare track and the drum bus and haven't quite dialed them in yet, but so far I like it. This is a pretty accurate representation of what that snare sounds like. I got a Supraphonic a few months ago that sounds truly bad ass, and I haven't even seriously recorded it yet. Once I'm done with these "second album" songs I'm gonna switch to the Supra full-time.

Love the drumming. Good guitars and bass too. Vocal delivery is OK, but not as good as the other tracks. Liked the slide whistle or whatever it was.

Personal taste thing, but I'd like a little heavier guitar sound.

But that's about it. Sounded good.

I think this is your best song yet Greg :D

No real problems with the instruments, but I agree with everyone else about the sibilance. It's not terrible, but it is noticeable.

Okay, more votes for sibilance. Thanks guys. Gonna fix it this evening.

Jeez Greg, it's a shame you won't sign anything. Strip the vox out of your originals, and you have one of the things most prized by production music publishers: "garage rock with edge'.

I have a friend who does stuff like this...a garage rock specialist...and probably not as well as you can do it...recorded perfectly, razor-sharp, and blood-pressure raising. He's all over the radio and TV, making serious buckage on non-exclusive licenses with sports broadcasts and late-nite, obnoxious car commercials. If not for your pocket...think of yer wife and kids. You could get thousands, man. A new Miata for the wife?? Get you some really nice mics, too.

I boggles me that you don't put your music to work!!! You're so effing good at this.

Anyway, the tune is great.

That is an awesome song dude LOL.
Haha thanks holmes.

Lol. Thanks man. I dunno about that stuff. I like my own music, but don't expect anyone else to. I really don't care if anyone likes it ever. I just wanna make good mixes for myself. I've never put any thought into making money off of it. I just do it for fun. No expectations = no disappointment. :D

This the funniest, well put together piece I've heard in a year. Thank you for the laughs, with great music/lyrics behind it.

The only comment I'll make is remember that transsexuals start off as men - a flock of them, high heels or not, just might hurt ya ;-)

Haha, thanks.

The inspiration for this song came from a trip to the corner store. There was a bonafide mexican tranny in line in front of me - tits, stubble, hairy chest, makeup, the whole shebang - and it was reading a tabloid with aliens on the cover. Then it stepped up and asked for a pack of smokes in one of the worst wannabe feminine voices I've ever heard. The whole thing kind of turned my stomach, so there you go if anyone's interested. I don't hate trannies, but they kind of gross me out.

Must be a Kennedy trust fund baby. I hope y' got this shit c'righted. Cuz one day you may need the wealth-potential in 'em. Get yer operation, r' sumthin'.

You have this gift....just know how fortunate you are, how good you are, and what treasure you're creating. Protect it....for your kids' sake. You know that the ownership of the catalog is inheretible...and that your great, great grand kids can be picking your pockets long after you're...wherever you're going....:spank:

This is great. It's hard to focus on the mix when the song is so much fun to listen to. Eh, just have to listen several more times...

I agree with the sibilance comments. I also think the crashing cymbal near the end of the song is a little crispy. I'd like to hear a little more backing vocals.

Cool man!!!

I know you're constantly saying you don't care if anyone likes your music or not, but are you happy with your quality and everything? Is there anything you want to improve on?
