Hey I'm thinking about adding some i/os to my digi 002 to get into outboard mixing. I hope to get 8 more i/os. Hoping for something cheap and decent. I'm not exactly sure if this is the wrong piece of equipment to go cheap on. With the setup I have now, it needs to have 1/4' ins and outs.

My friend has offered me a Steinberg Nuendo 8 i/o. It's the old one that only goes up to 44.1 (which is all I think I need). He's asking around $400. I was kind of hoping for something cheaper but I was wondering if I can get anything close to as good or better for less $$...

Any opinion or suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks

Maybe someone said F*CK and got moved to the cave. But I don't see it there either.

ya sorry about that. this was my first thread and i made two by accident because i thought the first one didn't work. any way of deleting one or does it matter?

The mods can do it if they want.

A lot of people have been suggesting the Behringer ADA8000. I would be interested in it except the way my set up is right now it would be easiest (wouldn't have to buy more snakes) to get something with 1/4' ins and outs. Any suggestions in the same price range?
