I am looking to get a better response out of my monitors. I am set up in my bedroom in the basement of my house. The room is a bit unusual, so I attempted to make a floorplan. I'm looking for some advice to get a flatter, better sounding overall mixing room.

I know it'l never be great, but I'm sure it can be better than it is with no treatment.

My yamaha hs-50 monitors are up against the wall and at ear level.

Any help is appreciated.

If this is something your going to set up/build. I can make it look real so you can adjust things to your liking. Like this.

This is something I made just a few minutes ago. It's just a hallway with a door leading to a room that's like a rest up room, just to eat, drink, etc. Ignore the lights and how thick that door is on the one side. I'm doing this for my Studio and of course the lighting and textures, everything will be perfect.

i kinda figured that about my monitors. My problem is that the room is so small, and from where my desk is setup, there is no where else to place the monitors.

*edit, I don't know that the dressor is a reflecting barrier. It is short. Only about 2-3 feet tall.
