Considering how far sound can travel in water, this could be anything.

Are you sure mixsit? those sounds could have traveled through your toilet water out into the middle of the Pacific ocean. Especially after a night of Mexican food.

This could very well be but I would put my money on planetary movement and underwater stress including small seismic tremors and heat vents farting away.

Or maybe some deep underwater city like Atlantis flushing it's sewer system.
