This song makes me realize i truly have no firends i and i should just go jump off a bridge somewhere.

Great sounding song, but i agree there needs to be more support to your stellar guitar playing from the back section there. All the feelings are there except the drums.

Perhaps hes had too much to drink and is keeping it simple in fear of failure?

Drums needs some life.

Mix sounds awesome though guy. Really good.

Hey NewGuy...thanks for the link to that recording site....which linked me to the above article about optimizing Windows XP for audio recording. I applied the advice, except some of the stuff that was trickier, at the end, and gained 15% free space, and got my puter processing at warp speed. Answers to headaches I've had for a long time...and couldn't find answers to.

TX!!!! That site is packed with stuff I don't know.

Wonderful.....I'm listening at 2:00 in the morning and this is just right.
Great voice, great guitar playing. Drums could be a little bit more interesting. Otherwise, nice work!

Joey :):):):)

Thank you for the listen and kind words. I really have to get a real drummer, this drum machine thing sucks! Glad you dug the song!

I am glad that there was some stuff in there that was helpful. :)

Hey Joey, I am really happy you enjoyed it! :) The drums are a constant thorn in my side, I am looking for one now. Glad you dug it, it is a really good 2:00am tune.

Great sounding song. I'm not a guitar guy, so I don't really have tuned ears for guitars, but these sounded great to me!

As far as drums go, I think I'd like to take a stab at this, if you'd like to give me the chance.

Whaddaya say? (links for examples in my sig)

Sure, but I suck at tech stuff! PM me and we will work it out.

Finally got around to getting a scratch drum track recorded to this. By far the slowest song I've ever played.... One of the most soulful, too..

PM sent.

Dude...those guitar tones are stellar. :D Reminds me of John Mayer.

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said. I agree that the drums need some life and I can't wait to hear what Poetic does with them. He does great work.

Again...super job. I think I'll have another listen. :D:D:D

I can smell the smoke, the beer and the depression!!! :drunk: That's nice blues! Please give me a short recipe: It must be a Strat + amp? plug-in? and the organ sound...patch?

My only wish would be a real climax (other than the great lead :D ) I felt the need for a poignant lyric belted out while the rest of the band tries to keep up - a little out of control - then the drums, tryin' to clean up with a power fill, pull it all back down again

Yea, I might get that climax I was lookin' for after all! Real drums, done well, should put this tune over the top in it's bluesy-spankin'ly-great guitar tone-bitchin'-ness

That's right I used 'bitchin' (as in really cool) - I'm old.
