Logic express?

I know i should be probably be posting this in the logic forum, but this kinda counts as a newb question...

So, currently i am running reaper on my mac, and it just isnt doing it for me. So i have been looking at getting logic express (cant afford pro), and i was just wondering if anyone had any input about Logic express (plugins, layout, etc.). Currently what i record is acoustic guitars (and other acoustic instruments), vocals, hand drums, and tons of synth stuff (thats why reaper isnt really working for me). So please, much feedback is appreciated.

and why do you think logic is better? well okay, logic has more instruments, but you can always use VST plugins on Reaper.

if you are about the synths and all that stuff there is nothing quiet like a rewire of "reason," to reaper.

When trying to learn logic I found it to be very different from what I was used too (protools) so it was a long transition. Mostly the way that new takes are made, how you comp a project, that sorta thing. So if you are willing to sweat out the transition, cool. Other than that I have found there to be a really good selection of software instruments, plug-ins and loops.

Thats one of the main reasons im looking at logic, it already comes with synths, loops, fx and what not. Im a fairly lazy person and because i have only been recording for like what, 2 and a half months now, i want something i can work with right out of the box (minus the apparent learning curve of logic). I would love to work with reason though (downloaded the trial.. it might just be the best thing sense sliced bread), i just dont have $400 to cough up for a daw at the moment .
