Mbox 2 Pro Tools Multi-Track

So I have an mbox2 with pro tools. The music I want record has multiple tracks and looping of vocals and instruments that I mic. I dont like editing with the pro tools software. I want to know of editing and live music software where I can easily record and loop it and record something over that.

Also is there software that can act as a loop station for live performance.

I want the process of getting the music of my head to go by smoother.

While it doesn't necessarily take any longer to record, edit and loop stuff in ProTools than it does in any other software, I can understand frustration with the learning curve of a full-blown sequencer. There is software that's developed with arranging canned-loops in mind: Sony's Acid and Fruity Loops are two popular ones.

Also is there software that can act as a loop station for live performance.

Of course - check out Traktor, I used to know some DJ's who used that for doing weird stuff live.
