I just installed Windows 7, I reinstalled Cubase. Everything is working except for saving the song. Cubase creates a new song file with a two digit suffix instead of just overwriting the current song file. Someone help please!

If you use "Save As" does it work ok?

yea, that is working, so i have a workaround. I emailed Cubase. I hate when things don't work the way that they are meant to.

I may be wrong here but doesn't cubase have something in the settings saying about project back ups? You can select so many can't you?

As I said I might be wrong.

save" problem

Well... I got my answer from cubase support, Cubase LE1 is not supported on Windows 7. Time to upgrade I guess. Here comes a whole bucket list of problems for me since I have recorded about 100 hours of music on this lite version of Cubase and I just don't have 400 to drop right now on the suite...
