3 questions about computer recording equip

I`m A beginner at DAW recording and recording in general. I recently bought Adobe Audition 3...Should I be getting something a little more basic to start out with or will I learn it fast enough to get out of it for what it can actually do?
Whats a plugin and how do they work and do they cost$? Guess thats more that three questions...:D
 
im not going to begin too answer a question thats been answered a million times. but i will say search through the threads. use the search feature in this forum. your questions have been answered so many times over. im sure you will find your answers. then if you have any other questions get at us.

Don't be bummed out because you can't figure out how to do your own research, mkay pumpkin?

You could do a search on google and find a million different pages all with the answer you're looking for.
 
There are answers to common questions like yours. You'll want to use the "search" function to cut down on re-posting info again and again.
