Super Bowl and The Who

Dude, I caught tons of messups where they were wanting to play, you know, the actual SONG as opposed to the cut down version. There wasn't any actual mistakes, but quite a few times you could tell the band wanted to go to the second verse, but had to quickly cut to the chorus instead, or even to another song.

Has anyone come across a mic list that was used?
Or the sound co. that was there?

Wrong....it's advertised as the greatest show on Earth everywhere. And there are more football fans outside of the US then you think.

From Wikipedia:

"on average, 80 to 90 million Americans are tuned into the Super Bowl at any given moment."

"Independent studies suggest that the average global viewership is just over 100 million, the vast majority of whom are U.S. viewers"

With Sport Illustrated saying (in 2006):

"Initiative, a New York-based media research firm, measured the global audience for last year's Super Bowl at 93 million people, with 98 percent of those viewers in North America. That would mean roughly 2 million people outside North America watched the Super Bowl."

P.s. I'm not looking to stir up arguments here. I just can't help but take the word "wrong" as a challenge :p

hehe...:D
that's right, in 2006.....4 years have gone by and the popularity of football keeps growing. Absolutely no doubt about the US having the biggest viewership though, there's no question about that.;)
I was lucky enough to be at the last World Bowl of NFL Europe in Frankfurt, Germany before the NFL cancelled the european league. A big mistake, just as the popularity of the game had reached a certain proportion.

ahem... go Saints!

I have a tiny TV (but I'm shopping for a big one now that the Superbowl is over) so I couldn't see crap - were those beta 58s they were singing into?

I wound up enjoying the Who shot by the end of it. I've heard firecrackers with longer sustain than some of those chords PT strummed :D but still really cool to see/hear.

Just seeing Pete on stage made my ears ring. How does he do it??
