Alright so I'm looking to buy a microphone for my PC. I currently make commentaries on top of video game gameplay, movies, and I have a podcast that I might start up. I'm looking for a microphone that will pick up my voice loud and clear pretty much. It will also be used as a mic in video game chat, but any mic can do that really. My budget is 60 bucks, and, if it matters, the soundcard is just the built in card in my M4A79t Deluxe motherboard.
I've been looking at the Behringer C-1, as it is affordable at $50 and supposedly sounds pretty good. Another question I have is that this mic requires a phantom power source? Is that something i need to buy separate..
Also, whats the deal with the USB mics. Like the c-1 vs. the c-1u.
Thanks
Also, I heard that condensers are pretty sensitive, and my computer is kinda loud with it's fans, but I can turn them down some. Will that be a problem?
