Alright, I need some help.

Since I can't exactly get my condensers working right now,
I figured I'll just use my old mic.
But, I tried recording on the audio interface alone with my mic, and it sounds so dull and flat, and pretty much way too warm.
So, here's my question..

Would it be good if I connected this mixer that I have..

I'd pretty much use the mixer for the EQ high's, low's, mid's,
and the interface pretty much for what it's meant for lol.
Any thoughts?

I can't see any problem with it. Just go into the line inputs and bob's your
uncle.

But, hey, do you know what hole I should put the other end of the wire in on the interface after I put it in the line inputs of my mixer?

Mic - xlr inputs on mixer
Line out of mixer - Line in on interface

so, simply use a 1\4 to 1\4 wire to connect the mixer to the interface?

Yeah, it doesn't matter if the 1/4" wires are mono or stereo, the output of the mixer is unbalanced anyway.

By the way, when I said line outs on the mixer, i meant "main outs"

I just wish I could see why my condensers aren't working, :/
oh well, my shureM58 isn't TOO bad.
plus, the whole mixer\interface combination should make it sound much more smooth and legit.
