Polytone Problems

Thank goodness for the internet etc.

I'd like to fix my polytone, but I'm a newbie to ss amp fixing.
I have moderate toubleshooting skills, and really good soldering skills.

My ca. 2003 mini-brute IV (?) is a great amp!
The reverb stopped working a while ago... I could live with that.

But now when you try to power-up, the pilot light quickly fades and then it's dead.
I know I should start with the power supply and see where it takes me...
But any sage advice that's out there would be appreciated!
