A mini Fender that can run on batteries and you can clip it onto your pants too! :) Surprisingly great sound.

LOL@ sneaking audiofailzine links into a question thread.
LOL@ Practicing in the bedroom.

gerg wins.

.........again.:D

JCM900 full stack

Yep, I normally practice (in my bedroom) with a Mesa Roadster half stack. Quarter stack, I guess, since I'm running a 2x12, but same basic difference. :D If it's too loud, your neighbors are too old.

That said, I DO have a Tech-21 Trademark 30 as my portable jamming rig, and the thing smokes - easily head and shoulders above the Spider.

My missus makes me do other things in my bedroom, bad things. :(

Marshall Mini on "OD" Setting and PLUGGED IN. So sick!

either that or put a battery in, clip to belt, dress up in clothing only found at salvation army and run around scaring people in Central Park

One of my bandmates has that same Mesa amp. 4x12 cab and a 2x12. He's got it all modded and shit. I don't know, I'm the drummer. It's pretty ballsy. No wait, it's a Roadking. The 4 channel mongo head.

He just bought a handmade Diamond head/cab. That thing is pure badassedness. I love it.

This - master volume at about 6, especially in other people's bedrooms.

Yeah, the Roadster is a slightly stripped down Road King - the same preamp, but with a (slightly) simplified poweramp, 50 or 100 watts of 6L6 without the option to switch in 50 watts of EL34s, and without the channel assignable cab switching and two FX loops. I kind of like Rectifiers with EL34s so I miss that, but I'm thinking of just tossing in a quartet anyway and I wouldn't use the rest.

Either way, both amps are BEASTS. It kind of makes you love Line6, just for putting the pressure on tube amp makers to build something that offers that same kind of flexibility. :D

Peavey Vypyr. Why don't they learn to spell? It gets the job done, if you are used to using modelers. I'm sure it's a better amp than the Spyder. I keep hearing about Tech 21. I'd love to play through one.-Richie

Um, English please? :D

The Roadster is basically a slightly simplified Road King. The same preamp, but the power amp isn't quite as pimped out. It'll still get you mad chicks though. :D

Gallien Krueger ML250.

I used to own one of these and i wish i never got rid of it.Is yours the combo or just the head unit?If you didn't know there's a way to get a little more gain from these by turning up a pot inside. If i remember correctly it's a little blue wheel for the gain channel inside. The music shop i bought mine from had done this for me.If it's turned all the way it doesn't really make a difference but turning it a bit increases the gain some.
