ok so when i record a chorus i want it too sound professional and full like this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9yWHCxnBYE
but do they put a chorus effect on there or record it multiple time cause when i put a chorus effect on it it sounds bad and when i record it multiple times and pan it is not tight or full its just kinda all over the place

thanks

i dont hear any chorus effect. You cant get get that sound by just recording a few times. you need some low and high harmonys. That could be at least 6 to 8 tracks. Send them to one sumbmix or two and compress them to hell then add a little verb. Oh and make sure Its all tight!!!

You can use a harmonizer to get it that tight. That way you don't have to use so many taks and risk it sounding flabby.

n it is not tight or full its just kinda all over the place
In order for it to sound tight, your timing has to be spot on. BTW it is not only about when the notes start. A lot of people, especially those that are more drummers, guitarists and keyboardists don't pay much attention to when a note ends. The timing of when and how a note ends is as important as when it begins. Practice.

Yep.

For a full chorus you need:

multiple voices
multiple harmonies
the phrasing to be accurate each time (the start and end of phrases need to line up)

and

if you are using different singers, they need to use the same vowel sounds.
