Firewire External Drives???

Do yourself a favor and look at Glyph drives.

Dead silent, built like a tank, rack-mountable and they are the ONLY manufacturer that will do data recovery if anything goes wrong in the warranty period (NO other company will do that; it costs thousand$....)

Been very happy with my GT050 and well worth the few extra bucks I paid for it....

I completely agree...the data recovery clause alone is worth the extra cost.:cool:
