Hip Hop mixes

The mic sound on the last few tracks was very "sang in a closet" sound. The mix and the first two tracks I thought was good. Whether it is the same "closet" sound of the vocals, it didn't seem like it to me. Unless it was the accompanying tracks that helped hide it. I like the sound of LA Gears and Man on the Moon.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I think the difference is in the mixing/mastering program most notably Izotope Ozone. But you are right my setup is much like a closet, for now atleast. I'm using a small booth surrounding the microphone only and recording in a corner with a cover to lessen sound reflection but I'm hoping to upgrade in the near future.

they're alright. the rapping is honestly really good but the mix and production is not up to par.

the talent is there, the concepts have potential.. so if done profesionally they could be really good. the songs just sound too home made, you know?

but you're talented man, keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll go back to my own personal stash of beats to liven things up since I produce on the side as well which I'd say is better than my rapping haha. But again thank you. You guys have been a great help.
