Overhead shot of the spliff bunker

Nah...I actually don't indulge any more - to quote Devo: "There's too much paranoias..."
But, I've just been reading an excellent biography of Joe Strummer ("Redemption Song - The Ballad of Joe Strummer" by Chris Salewicz, Farber & Farber, 2007) and it talks about one of the things Joe used to do in the studio: He'd take a bunch of aluminum flight cases and make himself a little fort to blaze in. Kind of makes you wonder what some of these talents could have come up with if they weren't stoned on their asses all the time.
Anyway, this wide-angle OH shot of my rig made me think of Joe's "Spliff Bunker". One thing we share as home recordists is the ability to cram a bunch of stuff into relatively little space!

cool setup, and if you haven't seen the future is unwritten yet, check it out. It's an AWESOME Strummer documentary.
 
not a fan of the yellow walls. You should make them purple. Studios are supposed to be purple, not yellow.
 
I would never record in a room that's too small to jerk off in. But I'm all about priorities...so maybe that's just me.

Ditto, Frank. Any friend of Mr. Tele is a friend of mine. That's a US-made '52 reissue I bought from the Custom Shop about 5 years ago. Great, great tone and playability. It's my deserted island guitar...unless there were no electricity on said island, in which case it would be my Hummingbird. They're both great guitars...and both lifetime keepers.

That makes me feel luxurious in my 22' x 25' room:). You certainly have that room well packed with nice stuff, though.
