Ok. Gay as this thread is, I'll bite.

If you don't care about all the virus's, useless updates, insane startup times, having to restart everytime you update ANYTHING, and dealing with the worlds biggest ball of string than sure go PC.

These things are really only problems for people who are too inept to learn how to use and maintain their PC properly.

not having to upgrade the living shiet out of it after you buy it to even get it functional with modern applications than well....I think I've made my stance clear.

I had the same PC for 5 years and never upgraded it beyond the video card, which wasn't something that would have been neccessary had I only been using it with audio. I built a new PC more recently, but again, if I wasn't wanting to play newer games (you know...games...those things that aren't compatible with your mac :p) I wouldn't have had to bother.

LOL @ ez conducting the idiot orchestra :p

You're playing a very familiar tune, guys.

Probably. I always want to take part but like they tell you in school, "just say no, kids". :D

Had a great time reading all these posts and all of them were vey helpfull. it would be a matter of preference, but I'd rather consult n get help than regret. THANX ALL!!!!!

I'm an only child. It probably seems obvious now that I've mentioned it.

For it to seem obvious, one would have to assume that I hang on your every word.

That would be a bad assumption. :)

I paid $7000 for a Mac, opened the hood and there was a god damned Intel chip in there.

I went fucking quantum theory on their ass and killed every last son of a bitch working at the Apple store.

Now I’m at the drug farm in Lexington typing this on a Commodore 64.

Mr. willis – thanks for starting this thread. Now I have a reason to double my Prozac.

Hey you any kin to Bruce?

I'm a Mac user--actually a former Apple Systems Engineer.

so have you ever had Steve Jobbs flip the fuck out on you after you've been up for 3 days on crystal meth working a quadruple shift or is this just an urban myth?

interesting point. noone's mentioned the sound/graphics capabilities of the SID chip yet.
