Here is a video of two TMBG covers I did. I made the instrumental backings as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QfO3KX4hxo Whatcha think?

In the first, you the click you are hearing is a recorded metronome. You are talking about the first song? What do you mean by casio keyboard stuff. The drums and the bass are the only thing not acoustic. The mix is pretty mono. I was trying to mix it for video, and I thought it would sound better that way, but I suppose I was wrong. Mainly because I thought youtube mixed down to mono. Anyway, thanks for the response.Don't take this the wrong way, but it kind of sound (to me) like a Karaoke track. The voice sounds loud and tubby compared to the rest of the background stuff. It also sounds like lots of little casio keyboard stuff going on and pretty damn flat (very mono)...possibly the same effects on everything flattening things? the only things that really stand out is the vocals and a very clicky background drum thing. I'd try and spread out some of the instruments across the stereo spectrum to give it a little depth
The second tune has more of a full sound thanks to the synth bass which seems to be panned hard left and right. this one in general has a better balance between instruments.
Not sure if this helped at all, but you've got a pretty damn close voice to the TMBG dude.
Well I am sure loud would appreciate that.Hey propman,
I have never heard the original, but your cover made me laugh at loud. I think you did a great job, and it sounds good to my ears. That accordian made me wanna get one myself. Nice job.
Starting place? Whatcha mean? Anyway thanks. And I know. It should have been lower. Thanks again!Me Like - TMBG is always a good starting place.
Nicely done but drop the mic a little lower so folk can scope the boat race.
