Country blues rock instrumental..?

You definitly have that Johnny Highland hypertensity thing going on.;)
 
sounds like you got the right idea for the licks, but admittedly I was ready to have my jaw drop, but kinda what you might hear in the music store back rooms.

The strings....well....

Definately some licks happening. Problem is I've heard too many flat pickers that just go bezerk-co, and if I'd never heard them, this would be REALLY good.

It IS amazing what those [non] rockers can do with an electric, isn't it?

At least you kept time, which is more than almost anyone else trying this. Anyrate, better than this EVH wannabe can do. GOOD job!
 
Being an EVH guy I thought maybe you'd like the hammer-on part? Had to do something fast and I can't do banjo rolls..

Oh well, at 2 minutes it won't waste too much of anyone's time! :D

Exactly. I was almost expecting this Brad Paisley or Greg Koch flat picking at first, but it's all good. Crisp guitar tone!
 
Ok, I'll stick to my element from now on! Was just an experiment..

I'm actually starting to study that style now, don't know if I have enough lifetime left to learn it though! :rolleyes:
