my computer suddenly doesnt record in stereo

all was well, i updated my soundcard and the updates fixed issues i was having , but then suddenly it doesnt record in stereo. why is this? it was recording fine after the update.

what soundcard are you running, and what DAW platform? and what exactly are you recording how many mics?

It's preferrably better when you're mixing in Stereo too, btw.
