My acer sucked, then the motherboard went. I use an Mbox 2 with pro tools, and a berhinger 4 track mixer that just goes into the mbox. the mbox is usb so it will work with any old pc bassically .. but i found it was slow and all that. i want a decent powerful laptop/desktop that will get the job done and more . i have 1300 and i live in canada lol, any advice ??

I've heard that these two companies make rock solid computers. I always build my own though.....
