Jordan, you have no business talking about how to make music, because you've never made music. This shit that you put out is an insult to music. Someone did you a favor by making the crap that spew into a recorder actually sound like "music" for the first time in your life.

Ok, I took a shot at this one yesterday...taking a page out of propman's playbook. Not so melodious as his tune, but hopefully interesting nonetheless. Sorry, I completely ignored your windy ballad idea...I am all out of windy ballads.

Very nice man. Very Beck. It is neet to see how people will twist lyrics into a song. Maybe this thread will turn out pretty good. Have a whole album of songs that jordan wrote, as performed by the home recording guys. I wonder if Greg_L will get in on the act. Anyway, heat, this is great here. I love it. I hate to thread jack, but I wondered if you had heard the Good Vibrations cover I did. I always like to know what you think. :D

ha, im a kittens whiskers! i love it! its got that funky psychedelic gingerbread sound i like so much. its not a windy ballad, but you brought your own life to it and im lovin it! it didnt really have a hook but you put in those cool interludes which made it great! i just wish it ran for 4:20 instead of 4:25 hhee

you guys are too much!

I would gladly take a set of Jordan lyrics and build a song from it if I believed he would learn something from it. As it is I fear his deluded perspective tells him his genius has been/will be the launch pad for the inspired work of others. He's milking time, effort, creativity and intellectual property and still rabbiting on about his own brilliance.
Heat, you've done an excellent job. Very Beck but then again a little more YOU. The whistlful lyric does suggest Beck though doesn't it! I just wish you'd gone the further 1/2 mile and fixed the faux rhymes while you were at it. Skating between real & faux rhymes does my head in.
