Hi All: I just finished burning my 20th cd for the RPM Challenge. I am hoping to have all 28 done by Monday. I was contacted today by the Columbus Dispatch. Their weekend arts writer is coming by monday with a photographer to do a story. I want to get a picture with all the cds around me. Also I was contacted about playing a few gigs up in Mass. this summer. The calendar is filling up a little...... Again I was reminded to let just keep doing what I do and let things outside of playing take care of themselves. Walter

the last couple cds were with a 1930's gibson acoustic with a dearmond 210 soundhole pickup into a princeton reverb reissue amp. Here are some samples:

In the end THAT is exactly what it's all about... doing your thing. It doesn't matter what it is! As long as you're doing it and it's from the the heart!

You are a beacon, Walt!

Rock on! :D

It sounds like you're generating some very useful additional all round interest in your work from this project Walter. Great news. The more people who get to hear your music the better. All the very best with the next stages.

Cheers,

Chris

Frankie Rage: I am slowly learning these lessons.....
Hakea: thanks. I am glad I didn't make it first 20 times around. I can appreciate things better now. I use to live and die by how many dates were on the calendar. Because I was needing to play out, I usually had at least 200 dates a year for 25 years. Now I am lucky to get 30 a year. But those 30 are good ones. The journey is the exciting part. Once you get there it is like - so what now? I am enjoying this journey. Walter
