Don't get too excited... I paid my shipping last Sunday and as far as I can tell, they still have not shipped today (Thursday)

Well, I don't know why I didn't get any tracking info. but I just drove by my place and there were two big boxes gracing my doorstep. I paid on the 14th and the stuff arrived today, on the 20th. There was a weekend in there to boot so, all in all, not too bad. I guess if you don't get any tracking info, just make sure you are checking your place for delivery. Now, I gotta go burn in a 1200. Where are you located?
I paid Friday the 14th and I'm in Illinois.
I haven't seen anything today as it should have been shipped to my business address.

Boy, is this ever turning into goulash at a great rate!

I love the smell of coffee. I don't really like the taste of it much.

The anticipation of this gear is intense and annoying.

I hope it sounds half way decent when it arrives.

But we're talking about major surgery for most of it already, unheard.

If the package was shipped more than a week or two ago via USPS and has not reached you, that would be my best guess. You may have to find it, starting with customs.

Thanks for the reply Madguirst/p.glaser. I've spoke with customs and they aren't holding any packages for me. Chance do you have any idea if it's shipped?
 
I hate to follow on the heels of wreckd's troubles with this news...but...

I got my gear today! Been running like crazy so I've only opened boxes; I've not plugged anything in yet (BTW, "anything" means a couple 73's, a couple 1200's, a 100, a 3, and a 310.)

I don't think I've seen this anywhere in the discussion yet, but it bears mentioning: the pre's are heavy.

I was just thinking that if there was only a way that shipping could have been included in the original purchase price, EVERYTHING would have been shipped to you all a long time ago. I am racking my brain how could we have predetermine the sizes and weight of each package we ship to everyone. Everyone's order is different. The problems I for-see in doing this is rising fuel costs etc. The people who are doing the packing are very efficient and are always waiting on me for invoicing and payment release. Anyone with logistic experience have any thoughts on this? We would welcome any ideas to make things function more efficiently.

COD for the cost of shipping if Fedex will do that.
 
The ONLY downside is that can be a pain if you're not home... or close to a Fed Ex hub.

The two big plusses... Much quicker shipping... They aren't going to leave a box sitting unattended on anyone's porch.

One other possible downside i thought of while typing... if no-one claims the paackage... I think it gets shipped back to the originator and they then have to cover the shipping both ways to get it back.

A possible fix for that... Chance states upfront the shipping policy, and if he gets anything back... he can try contacting the person to reship with the added costs if he wants to take to the time... if nothing... sell it to someone else so he can recoup the costs. There doesn't seem to be any lack of people hoping to get in on the buy's afterwards. There's already people looking for pre-amps from this one, and man of us are still waiting on our shipments... or invoices...
 
For what it's worth to those of you waiting on a shipping invoice or a shipping confirmation, the email from Fedex came from TrackingUpdates@fedex.com. Add it to your spam filter if you're afraid it might get blocked.

The subject line was "FedEx Shipment Notification" if you want to trawl through a spam folder to see if accidentally misfiled. The email came two days after the units shipped, which shipped Fedex Home Delivery. Fedex says it's four business days from Rialto CA to DC, so those of you closer to Rialto CA than DC may very well continue to get packages before you get email notifications.

I hope that's useful to someone :)

Opened my email this morning and there was a Fedex notice stating my gear was out for delivery.
First notice I received so far.
It's going to be a good day!
