hey guys,

can i switch the intenface in audition back to the "cool edit verision"

- the toolbar above the wave editor window (don't like to search in many submenues)

- a small version of the record level? (on audition it is realy BIG)

h***://***.forum.script-ecke.de/cool.jpg <- here a picture what i mean (sorry but i am not allowed to post urls .. :( )

you have an idea how to get this?

sorry for my englisch :)

It's not possible, and that's the reason I went from Adobe Audition 2.0 back to 1.5. I couldn't get used to the difference in the interface (or mixdown, for that matter), which I guess was implemented to help integrate AA with Adobe's other software.

In AA3, go to View / Shortcut Bar, and click on show. Click any group you would like to see.

The level meter window can be changed in position and size anyway you like. Just click and hold it, and you can move it around as you please.

And while you are changing the interface looks, go to Edit / Preferences, go to Colors tab, and choose a color preset you like.

By the way, you can do the same in AA1.5.

See Customizing workspaces in the help file for more information.

I like the '3D' preset in 1.5....it has nice contrasts to it, eyes don't seem to strain too much even after 4 hours.

Does 3.0 have this colour preset?

No, it doesn't have the 3D preset. It has a limited number of presets, including my favorite: Easy on the Eyes. But you can change the color, brightness and transperancy of all windows and waves to your own preferences.
