mr. green christmas
Here is another garage jam from July.
Recorded on a tascam 688 cassette multitracker. I just want to make it sound as good as I can...
I recorded a drum machine through an amp with a couple of mics and one direct signal and blended to taste. Then, a friend and I jammed along (him on bass and myself playing a delay-drenched guitar). Then, I overdubbed some rhythm guitars panned hard left and right, added some percussion and some more leads panned center.
How, in a general sense, does it sound?
My concerns are: the tamborine/shaker track is obnoxiously loud at first, but seems to calm down later, the drum machine still sounds too machine-like and, while I find the jam interesting, I suspect 5 minutes of this may feel like an eternity to some. Any thoughts?
