I've started playing gigs again but want a fuller sound using backing track or mabey if there is some decent accompaniment program on the market, I don't want to go down the road of getting a band together, not for the time being anyway

Just me on vox and acoustic guitar doing covers in folk, trad, light rock, blues and reggae styles

Any recommendation of how to go about this or what programs are avaible would be great

maybe band in a box?? i know someone using it and he seems to like it... i had thought about trying it to see if it will work from midi in real time...

ableton live... hence the name allows for triggereing clips which can be anything, from a drum loops to a guitar part. it doubles as good recording program which i sometimes use.

I checked out this program, looks good as it has pre recorded real instruments rather than midi. I'm downloading the demo atm
