Very Small Isolation Booth for Foley?

Hey guys,

I seem to be doing more and more Foley recording recently, and am becoming increasingly concerned about noise floor levels. The room I currently record in is pretty big, and has (eek!) a wood laminate floor so its a very lively room to record in. This is good for some things, but a pain in the neck when i need to close mic something very quiet.

So I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about a very small booth, slightly bigger than a chest of drawers, that i could use to isolate small recordings but not take up too much room...

I've seen a few posts on here for vocal booths etc. so I'll get on those to have a look at the materials etc, but any other advice would be much appreciated.

what is it you are looking to record? I built a guitar ISO cab because I live in an apartment. It ended up being about 4 feet high an 2x2 wide. So it had plenty of room to breathe. But it works out really well. But you can also buy them from musiciansfriend.com already built I think they are around $300-$400 if that's what you are looking for.
 
I think that before I built a booth, I would consider a bunch of freestanding panels with absorption one side and mass on the other. You could set it up in many confgurations and build acoustically different sized room.

Unless you have some ambient noise you really need to be closed off from.
