i love my v-amp pro and would buy another one in a heartbeat if it was broke/stolen!
The thing with the delay between patches is ...if you have different cabs on different presets,
it'll give you a delay between switching. If you use the same cab on a strip of presets..the delay wont happen...
a little trick for you v-amp users!

Oh, cab not amp? I'm gonna try that right now!

Yes, it worked! Man I had no idea, they should have mentioned that in the manual.

Cheers dude

Now I'm confused. If I hook up my V-Amp Pro to my sound card using the analog line outs, will the amp and cab emulations(and effects)be sent to my sound card?

That's not what it says in the manual. It says use the analog line outs to hook up to an external guitar amp.

I use the Vamp2 as a live unit, into a PA or a power amp and a cab, and the Bass Vamp Pro in the studio. Both units have done everything I asked of them without a hiccup. The Vamp is one of the few Behringer products that is not really a knockoff of some competitor's gear. It is more intuitive than the POD, and has a more useful display. It shows you what sims and what EQ and FX you are using at a glance, and what the settings are in every preset, making it much easier to tweak. I think they are among my most useful cheap boxes.-Richie

No prob man..glad i could help

Yeah, thanks from me as well. I never even thought of that and it works great. No delay at all. Good info!!!

It's kind of nice to see a thread where Behringer isn't getting beat to hell. I'll be the first to admit that not all of their products are of the greatest quality. But the V-Amp series is is something they did right, from the ground up.
