Here is the ultimate channel strip of absolute doom.
On a universal rack shelf I have mounted a TubePre, a Mustang (car stereo) 10 band graphic EQ and an Alesis Micro Limiter. Yes duct tape was necessary

This sounds horrid. But it does such wonderful things when you want to make trashy sounds. It's amazing the variety of nastyness I can get from it :D

The Mustang surprisingly is a discrete transistor design. Kinda cool for car stereo junk.

Do you think I should market this? Maybe put together a range of dirty, ugly channel strips and sell them for the same as a GML 2020 :D:D:D

Can't beat it for color ...as long as you like the color brown :p

Drinking and tracking should be a crime. Until it is, you might want to visit this site: DMHMRSAS

Are you taking preorders? How about a group buy? We can all go to the auto salvage yard together.

How about audio clips to go with it.

I am working on it :)

The EQ just has bare wires for signal connections so I'm trying to terminate them with something more usable. I think I need to hit the thrift store for a 12V wall-wart too :D

Now that we have a DIY forum here I'll continue this thread there once I have some extra time...
