Why Not Elixirs?

I feel like a misquoted politician now..:D

Hahaha, sorry dude. I may not have been as clear as I should be; I was trying to say that you personally seem to be more against the idea of putting Elixirs on your acoustic than you are on your electic, though you of course respect our right to put whever we think plays and sounds the best on our guitars of whatever make, as tone is such a subjective thing.

I use barbed wire for strings. It gets a real gnarly sound out of the amp, plus the screams of the guitarist in the background add a sense of immediacy to the mix.:D

That's pretty damned metal. How do they intonate? also, can you do this if you don't have a weird unpronounceable Finnish last name and/or corpse paint?
