I can't imagine any reason I would ever want to wind my own pickups (I can already get great pickups from guys who know a lot more about it than I), but that is damn cool!

I don't need an excuse, I'd just play with 'em! Too bad I don't have any, currently, but I do need to give into the temptation to buy something Lego, next time I'm at Wal-Mart or Kmart.
