I too am intrigued from the standpoint of the unique aspect but I'll be honest...don't know much about that unit. If nothing else, the price is right.

While I'm old enough to appreciate the older equipment, lately I've been more impressed by the flexibility of newer technology. Changing characteristics and multi-effects which are hard to beat. For a few bucks more I think you can get a bit more bang. I promise not to bid on that box...even though, I'm finding the price make it to be tempting :D

I did find a forum that seemed to briefly mention the same unit with a favorable comment ; http://www.gearslutz.com/board/low-end-theory/143156-spring-reverb.html

It's not analog, but I have a TC Electronic M300 dual-engine processor. It has reverbs, delays, chorus, flange, etc. The price was right (about $300?) and, hey.... it's TC Electronic, so you know it's at least on the good side of decent.

I was going to suggest something in that neck of the wood for that price range and flexibility. I've got a TC G-Sharp in my guitar set up which I think is a good bang for the buck.

I'll second the TC M300. Dead easy to tweak, decent sounding.

Kurzweil Rumour. Great verbs. Also you get two channels of more than respectable conversion as a bonus. Unbeatable for the price.

sound workshop verb is rad...as is the master room and furman.

for some xtra bucks - check out the demeter real reverb. awesome. i have the real reverb and the TC M300. i use the real reverb for almost all reverbs. the M300 is good...but still on the grainy side...you have to step up to the 500 or buck level for better.

Sony DPS-R7. Underrated unit - tons of parameters if your into tweaking.

That Bricasti Reverb is absolutely incredible sounding. Personally, it puts all but the best most expensive reverbs to shame in my opinion. I got to use a prototype of the Bricasti (one of two of them) last year when mixing a band at the Jimmy Kimmel show. The Bricasti had everything I could ever want in a reverb. It was so incredibly thick, yet natural. You almost couldn't use too much of it, yet when you mute it the whole mix would just collapse. It is a fairly expensive unit, but if its within budget for anyone I could not recommend it enough. It took me all of about 5 seconds of using it to realize just how impressive it was. I wish I could afford one!

The guy is looking at a reverb for $125 and you steer him towards a $3500 unit???

I didn't stear him there, but was merely commenting on the Bricasti reccomendation. In all fairness however, it did say all suggestions are welcome. Although I also see the point in not reccomending a $3500 stereo reverb unit:D

After all, we all need something to aspire to, no? :D

I'l 3rd the Rumour. Love it.
