Wow.

Your recordings always sound so clean and warm. I love it.

Great performance, also. Wish I could play like that. :)

You've go this acoustic playing and recording down to a science Danny. This piece reminds me something - in any case it's a classy piece of music... Keep 'em coming I always enjoy them.....

:cool::D:cool::D

Thanks, ido. I was real tired last night when I came up with it (and a little drunk). It does sound a little familiar, but I don't know. Also sounds kind of like the last one I recorded in some places but oh well.

Thanks for listening.

That's a really nice guitar piece Danny, it's very mellow-almost therapeutic- and calming. I can hear it fitting into a movie soundtrack so easily-keep up the good work...:)

To be taken intraveniously as well as aurally - very, very nice recording, playing & composing!

that could put me to sleep gah.. IM LOVING IT!!! lol i know this is prbly not the right place to ask.. BUT what mic is that you are using and preamp? or any? Sounds amazing and SOOO CLEAN! no fuzz at all..

Thanks a bunch for the comments.

notredamer - I use the Naiant MSH microphones and M-Audio DMP3 preamp, into the M-Audio 24/96 Audiophile sound card...then finally into Reaper.

Oh yeah, I also added a touch of the free GlaceVerb plugin which I thought sounded good.

Good job, Danny. I like it. I wish I could play half as good (and produce sounds that clean).

WOW im very impressed... I was actually looking at the dmp3 for a preamp... OR the bluetube. Awesome stuff man.. i wanna hear more lol

Love the sound you're getting, Danny. Is that drop D or DADGAD or standard tuning? Whatever it is, you're getting a rich meaty sound. I wish I could record git that well. Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks. It's open D tuning but with a capo at the 2nd fret, so I guess that makes it open E.

Sounds real nice dude. Really nice. I can't really relate to this kind of stuff or add anything useful, but I always try to listen when I see you post something new. Keep up the good work. :)

Thanks, Greg. Not your cup of tea? :p That's ok :) Thanks for checking it out

Lol. I don't have anything at all against it. I respect and appreciate the talent required to finger-pick a pretty tune on an acoustic guitar. I just can't do it, so I don't feel that I can add anything constructive to the thread. I enjoyed the listen though. :)

Oh ok. I figured since you seem to record mostly classic rock and stuff it might not be your type of music. I've had a lot of people tell me I record "fag music" LOL. It's cool though. I'm glad you liked it.

patlang - Thanks man
