yeah that would be because i made it up-- my badit should be the bv-11p if i now recall correctly
I actually even did not know he had transformers.
I could not find any info on that, except it is 8:1, which anyway is still a little too high.
I looked with no luck. Any chance you could provide a link? Before that is this a home DIY project? Drilling a back plate is one thing but re-machineing is another.

I spent some time and could not find it either. It was quite a while ago, so it even might be on previous tech-talk and (all files are lost from there), or it also might be lost during the groupdiy site crash a couple years ago.
I don't think it is quite a DIY project as it involves precision drilling on a chucked rotary table, lapping, and sand blasting.

-- it also picks up a lot of EM hum, presumably due to the lack of shielding from my fingers, as opposed to the steel sleeve it needs. Alas, the two housings are different diameters, and I'm not sure what I'd need to do (short of machining) to get the smaller MXL capsule to fit snugly. I'm thinking that actual surgery on the capsules is beyond me. Something to ponder.
