Thanks Jay. Not sure what you mean by that, can you explain it a bit. This is my first time using wavelab and I'm just learning how to smash stuff:D

Is there a deadline yet? I'm heading to Houston tomorrow and won't be back until next Monday. I'd sure like a little more time on this.

Hey Dirk,

The snare sounds too upfront and sticks out throughout the mix on my system. Other than that it sounds great. Happy New Year!

Just bouncing the final mix I submitted a while back. Been out of the country and won't be back till the 10th. Been trying to listen to some of the latest mixes but on this laptop it's pointless.

Looking forward to getting some judging and results on this.

Just got back in town today . . . has a deadline been set yet? I'll be too busy for comments before the judging, but let me know when it's time for that!

Seemed to be a lot of 7.5 to 12 K. If you had been listening to it for a while and been suffering from ear fatigue that probably had a lot to do with it. Did you EQ the entire mix?

Here's mine, not exactly how I want it (changed computers and haven't installed any plugin's yet) but oh well. Something happened on the conversion and my stereo field shrunk a little, I'll try it again later

Thanks Jay, you're absolutely right. I had been working on it all day and sorta panicked at the end because it wasn't loud enough. I threw a mbc on it which changed the sound so I tried the eq in waves to balance it out and it just turned to crap.(it sounded good at the moment :)) I'm going to try it again with just a limiter on the original mix.

Your English is just fine.

I gave this a listen on the way out the door. It's a little light on the bottom end and one of the guitars and the harmony vocal is too quiet. The maximized version sounds the pretty much the same, just louder.
